Aurora Lunae

The Aurora Lunae is a watch designed to be unobtrusive—and it succeeds. A white dial, thin indices, a steel mesh bracelet. Nothing more.

Seven millimeters thick

This number defines the character of this watch. The 36mm diameter and 7mm thick case slips under a shirt cuff or sweater sleeve and doesn't catch when taking it off. Automatic watches rarely go below 11mm—in this case, the quartz movement made it possible.

Dial

White, matte, without a date window or logos except for one. The indices are lined, the hands thin and simple. This dial is instantly readable, as there's nothing to distract from the time.

Mesh bracelet

The steel mesh fits comfortably on the wrist, without any links that can pinch when bending. The clasp is adjustable, so you can adjust the length without visiting a watchmaker.

Mechanism and battery

Quartz movement—accuracy measured in seconds per month, not per day. The battery needs to be replaced every two to three years; it costs a few zlotys and a few minutes at any watchmaker. The watch keeps running whether you're wearing it or keeping it in a drawer.

Craftsmanship

The case is made of 316L stainless steel—the same grade used in surgical instruments: corrosion-resistant and hypoallergenic. The dial is protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass that resists scratches from doorknobs and desks.

Assembly is done by hand in Krakow, and each unit is inspected before packaging. You have 14 days from receipt to return the item, without giving a reason.
