Celesti Skeleton Watch User Manual

Thank you for choosing our watch Celesti Skeleton. The Skeleton collection was created for those who value a technical watch, elegant finish, and a visible mechanism.

Depending on the chosen variant, the Skeleton model can be equipped with an automatic or mechanical movement. Seiko VK63 Hybrid / mecha-quartz with chronograph function. Before use, please read the instructions appropriate for your watch version.

1. Automatic version

  • The automatic version of the Celesti Skeleton watch features a self-winding mechanical movement. This means the watch winds itself when worn on the wrist.
  • The movement of the hand sets in motion a rotor visible through the transparent caseback. The rotor stores the energy needed to operate the mechanism.
  • If the watch hasn't been worn for a long time, it may stop. This is normal for automatic watches. To restart it, simply wind the movement manually or wear the watch on your wrist and move it for a few minutes.

2. Operating the crown in the automatic version

  • The Skeleton Automatic model has a screw-down crown. Before setting the time or date, you must first unscrew the crown.
  • To unscrew the crown, gently turn it counterclockwise until you feel it unlock.
  • Once the adjustment is complete, the crown should be screwed back in securely.

3. Crown Positions - Skeleton Automatic

3.1 Position 1 - Winding the watcha

  • Once the crown is unscrewed, it is in the first operating position. From this position, the movement can be wound manually.
  • Turn the crown clockwise. We recommend turning it approximately 20–30 gentle rotations.
  • Do not use excessive force. If you feel significant resistance, stop turning the crown.

3.2 Item 2 - Set date, if any

  • Gently pull the crown out to the second stop. In this position, you can set the date if the variant has a date display.
  • Turn the crown slowly until the correct date appears in the window.
  • We do not recommend changing the date between 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., because during this time the mechanism may be preparing for automatic date change. Adjustment within this interval may negatively affect the operation of the date display.
  • If the selected variant does not have a date stamp, this item may be inactive.

3.3 Position 3 - Setting the hour and minutes

  • Pull the crown out to the last notch. In this position, you can set the hours and minutes.
  • Turn the crown until the correct time is set. Once the setting is complete, push the crown back into its original position.

4. VK63 / mecha-quartz version with chronograph

  • Some models from the Skeleton collection, such as variants of the type Chronos, are equipped with a mechanism Seiko VK63 Hybrid / mecha-quartz.
  • This movement combines the convenience of a quartz watch with the chronograph operation inspired by mechanical watches. Basic timekeeping is battery-powered, while the stopwatch function has a more dynamic, mechanical feel.
  • In this version, the large central hand can be used as a stopwatch. This means that it doesn't have to move continuously during normal timing. This is consistent with the mechanism's proper operation.

5. Lace Positions - Skeleton VK63

5.1 Position 1 - Standard Working Position

This is the primary crown position for everyday use. In this position, the watch will keep time normally.

5.2 Item 2 - Set date, if any

  • Gently pull the crown out to the second stop. In this position, you can set the date if the variant has a date display.
  • Turn the crown slowly until the correct date appears.
  • We do not recommend changing the date between 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., as this may negatively affect the operation of the date mechanism.

5.3 Position 3 - Setting the hour and minutes

  • Pull the crown out to the last notch. In this position, you can set the hours and minutes.
  • Once the correct time is set, push the crown back to its original position.

6.Chronograph support in VK63 version

  • A chronograph is a stopwatch function that allows you to measure the passage of time.
  • In Skeleton models with the VK63 movement, the chronograph is operated using two buttons located on the right side of the case.

Top button - start / stop

  • The top button is used to start and stop the stopwatch.
  • Press the top button to start timing.
     Press it again to stop the measurement.
  • You can press the top button again to continue measuring.

Bottom button - reset

  • The lower button is used to reset the chronograph.
  • After stopping the measurement with the upper button, press the lower button to return the chronograph hands to their initial position.
  • Do not reset the chronograph while it is running. Always stop the measurement before using the lower button.

7. Screwing down the crown after adjustment

  • The crown should be screwed back in after each adjustment.
  • Press it gently towards the case while turning it clockwise. The crown should close securely, but do not force it.
  • Correctly screwing the crown down is important to maintain the water resistance of the watch.

8. Contact with water

  • Before any contact of the watch with water, make sure that the crown is screwed down securely.
  • Do not unscrew or operate the crown underwater or when the watch is wet. On chronograph models, do not operate the stopwatch buttons underwater.
  • After contact with seawater or chlorinated water, we recommend gently rinsing the watch with clean water and drying it with a soft cloth.

9. Adjusting the bracelet

  • The Celesti Skeleton bracelet can be adjusted to fit your wrist by removing or adding links.
  • Adjustments can be made using a suitable watchmaker's tool. If you are inexperienced, we recommend seeking the assistance of a watchmaker to avoid scratching the bracelet or incorrectly installing links.
  • The bracelet should fit securely on the wrist, but not be too tight.

10. Butterfly clasp

  • The Skeleton model is equipped with a butterfly clasp, which ensures an elegant look and comfortable wearing of the watch.
  • To put on the watch, unfold the clasp, place the bracelet on your wrist, and then close both sides of the clasp until you hear or feel a click.
  • Before wearing, make sure the clasp is closed properly.

11. Luminova

  • Selected dial elements, such as the indices and hands, can be coated with a luminous coating, making the watch more readable in dim conditions.
  • For the best luminosity, expose the watch face to light for a few minutes. The luminosity may gradually decrease over time.

12. Storage

  • When not in use, it is best to store your watch in a dry and safe place, preferably in its original box.
  • Avoid leaving your watch in places exposed to high temperatures, humidity or strong magnetic fields.
  • With the automatic version, if the watch stops after a long period of non-use, simply wind it again or put it on your wrist.

13. The most important rules of use

  • Always tighten the crown after adjustment.
    Do not operate the crown underwater or on a wet watch.
    In the chronograph version, do not reset the stopwatch while it is running.
    Do not change the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM.
    Do not use excessive force when operating the crown, buttons and clasp.
    Avoid strong impacts, falls and contact with chemicals.
    Clean your watch with a soft microfiber cloth.
    Do not open the cover yourself.
    Store your watch in a dry place when not in use.
