1. Automatic mechanism
- The Celesti Horizon is a mechanical self-winding watch. This means the movement winds itself when worn on the wrist.
- The movement of your arm turns the rotor inside the mechanism, which stores the energy needed to run the watch. If the watch hasn't been worn for a while, it may stop—this is completely normal.
- To restart your watch, simply wind it manually or place it on your wrist and move it around for a few minutes.
2. Operating the screw-down crown
- The Horizon model has screw-down crown, which increases the watch's protection against water and moisture.
- Before adjusting the time or date, you must first unscrew the crown. To do this, gently turn it counterclockwise until you feel it unlock.
- After each adjustment, the crown should be screwed back in securely.
3. Lace positions
3.1 Position 1 - Winding the watch
- Once the crown is unscrewed, it is in the first operating position. From this position, the movement can be wound manually.
- To wind the watch, turn the crown clockwise. We recommend approximately 20–30 gentle rotations.
- Do not use excessive force. If you feel significant resistance, stop turning the crown.
3.2 Item 2 - Set date, if any
- Gently pull the crown out to the second notch. In this position, you can set the date if your watch has a date display.
- Turn the crown slowly until the correct date appears in the window.
- We do not recommend changing the date between 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., because during this time the mechanism may be preparing for automatic date change. Adjustment within this interval may negatively affect the operation of the date display.
- If a given watch variant does not have a date display, this item may be inactive.
3.3 Position 3 - Setting the hour and minutes
- Pull the crown out to the last notch. In this position, you can set the hours and minutes.
- Turn the crown until the correct time is set. Once the setting is complete, push the crown back into its original position.
4. Screwing down the crown after adjustment
- Once the watch is set, screw the crown back in. Press it gently towards the case while turning it clockwise.
- The crown should be securely tightened, but do not force it.
- Correctly screwing the crown down is very important to maintain the water resistance of the watch.
5. Contact with water
- Before any contact of the watch with water, make sure that the crown is screwed down securely.
- Do not unscrew or operate the crown underwater or when the watch is wet. After contact with seawater or chlorinated water, we recommend gently rinsing the watch with clean water and drying it with a soft cloth.
6. Adjusting the bracelet
- The Horizon bracelet can be adjusted to fit your wrist by removing or adding links.
- Adjustments can be made using a suitable watchmaker's tool. If you are inexperienced, we recommend seeking the assistance of a watchmaker to avoid scratching the bracelet or incorrectly installing links.
- The bracelet should fit snugly on the wrist, but not be too tight.
7. Storage
- When not in use, it is best to store your watch in a dry and safe place, preferably in its original box.
- If the watch stops after a long period of non-use, simply wind it again or put it on your wrist to restart the mechanism.
8. The most important rules of use
Always tighten the crown after adjustment.
Do not operate the crown underwater or on a wet watch.
Do not change the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM.
Do not wind your watch using excessive force.
Avoid strong impacts, falls and contact with chemicals.
Clean your watch with a soft microfiber cloth.
Store your watch in a dry place when not in use.
